About the program

Our mentorship program aims to connect members of the local business community as traditional networking has been made difficult over the past 2 years due to COVID-19. It also provides an opportunity for new professional relationships to be formed, which will lead to increased support networks and collaboration within the Prince George business community.

The program is a direct result of member feedback from the PGCoC’s 2021 Membership Survey, where members identified a need for mentorship and peer-to-peer support. A Mentorship Taskforce consisting of PGCoC board members and staff, Chamber member businesses, and MNP staff worked together to make this opportunity possible. We are thrilled to announce that this program is now in its second year!

How to get involved

Chamber members and MNP clients that are interested in becoming a mentor, becoming a mentee, or peer-to-peer networking are asked to fill out this membership pairing survey. To ensure participants are matched with a suitable business professional, the survey focuses on three areas: work experience, current challenges and goals, and personality traits and values. Participants are required to commit to just three hours over a 90 day period. Our intake for the 2022 program is now open until Friday, May 28. We will be hosting an open house for the program on Wednesday, May 18, and all interested participants are invited to attend and learn more about the program.
